What if your dreams are telling you about health problems, and you don’t even know it?

Years ago a colleague of mine was diagnosed with cancer. She shared with me a powerful dream that not only foreshadowed her cancer, but seemed to tell her what sort of treatment to pursue:

I realized in the dream that there were too many ants for natural products to work and I would need to use chemical pesticides. The area they were infesting was a spiral staircase (often represents the spine) … and the bone marrow biopsy of my spine was one of several diagnosis tests where the cancer showed up. I also had several more dreams before, during & after treatment that seemed to chart the course of things.

In light of this dream, the dreamer opted for chemotherapy (bug spray) and lived healthfully and happily ever after to tell the tale. This is a true story and it’s not the only one of its kind.

Dreams are powerful healing agents. They can send you timely warnings and detailed advice about how to heal everything from the common cold to cancer.

But a big challenge most dreamers face is in knowing which images are warnings of illness and which are comments on daily activities. Regardless, you can only take action when you understand what your dreams are trying to tell you.

So, in order to help people better understand the signs in a warning dream, I’m compiling a book of case studies from people who have actually used their dreams to heal.

In order to do that, I need to first collect more dreams.

If you’re interested in getting a free copy

of the case studies ebook,

here’s how you can help us prepare (it’s simple).

I want to help as many dreamers as possible understand the signs of warning and prescriptive dreams so they can

  • be more informed early on
  • take control of their health
  • trust they’ve chosen the best healthcare treatment and
  • get the help they need before it’s too late

To do this, I need to collect as many dreams as I can, but I can’t do it alone so I’d love your help with the following:

  • If you have dreamed about illness and/or received healing guidance from dreams consider submitting the details so we can use your experience in the ebook (see details below) Note: even if you discovered health related dreams after being healed or cured, feel free to submit your dreams. PLEASE: read the details below before submitting.
  • If you know someone else who has healed an illness by working with their dreams, forward this post to them and ask them to submit their dream
  • Share a link to this page on Facebook (use the Facebook link below the post)
  • Share a link to this page on Twitter (use the Twitter  link below the post)
  • Spread the word via email and in any dream groups you’re in

All participants will get a free copy of the ebook (which may help you explore health related dreams in the future…). If all goes well, this ebook may be made public.

However, your submissions will be anonymous unless you want to be recognized.

Here are the details:

I’m specifically looking for examples of dreams that alerted you to a health issue and the details of how your dreams helped you overcome whatever happened.

If you discovered the dream after your healed from an illness, that’s OK.

You might have a series of dreams, or one dream. And if you have more than one example feel free to submit as many as you’d like.

Considering this, I’d love your dreams if they fall into any of the following categories:

Warning Dreams:

These may have been dreams that alerted you to an illness, allergy, or physical condition before you knew you had it or after you were diagnosed.

You may not have discovered the correlation between your dream and illness until much later. That’s OK.

Prescription Dreams:

These dreams often suggest a health treatment plan, or offer advice on how to heal (for instance, I have a colleague whose dream suggested she use chemicals to kill ants. She had cancer and opted for chemotherapy and is healthy to this day – 8 years later.)

Healing Dreams:

These dreams may have actually healed you in some way.

Submission Information:

please email the following information to dreaming@thedreamtribe.com

  • Your name and whether or not you want to remain anonymous
  • The best way to contact you (email and phone preferable, but not necessary)
  • A description of what happened

The dreams you had: warning, prescription or healing

Your actual illness or health situation

The course of treatment you chose and how your dreams guided you along the way

The end result, or your current situation

To help you get started,

here are some examples from my own life:

Example: Intestinal Bug

Years ago I dreamed there were spider mites in a bowl. I rinsed the bowl out with water and the spiders disappeared.

I immediately recognized the dream as a health warning.

A week later I got an intestinal bug! I drank a lot of water and flushed it out of my system and within two days I felt 95% better.

Example: Exhaustion

I was busy working on a project in waking life, and I was exhausted. I dreamed I was going on a blind date to a movie theater. I was about to run out of gas and had two options: stop, get gas and be late to the movie, but otherwise be fine. OR, go to the movie, be on time, and definitely run out of gas late at night in a bad neighborhood.

When I woke up I realized I needed to relax and not work so hard. My timeline was not as important as my health and my dream helped me realize this.

Example: Healing in a Dream

Shortly before my ordination I was experiencing some emotional frustrations. I dreamed a dog invited me into a tent and proceeded to give me a healing by bathing me in golden yellow light. It was calming and peaceful.

If you’re interested in participating and you’d like a copy of the final results, email your dream(s) to me as Word attachments or in the body of an email at dreaming@thedreamtribe.com. I’d love to get as many dreams as possible.

(If you submit someone else’s dreams please be sure to get the dreamer’s permission first, and send their email address if possible, or better yet, have them email the dream to me directly.)

P.S. If you do not have a dream to submit, but you’d like to be kept in the loop in case we offer the ebook publicly, sign up for our ezine below and you’ll get an announcement.

P.P.S. If you’re already on our list you don’t need to sign up.
